Males tend to display brighter colors and more dramatic patterning, while females are typically softer in coloration. Their calm nature and manageable size make them ideal for community tanks.

General Tank Setup & Care

Tank Size: A minimum of 10 gallons is recommended, though larger tanks offer more stability and swimming room.
Water Temperature: Keep water between 75–82°F.
pH Level: Aim for slightly acidic to neutral water, around 6.0–7.5.
Decor & Plants: Live or silk plants, driftwood, and hiding spots help mimic their natural habitat and reduce stress.
