Entropion/Cherry Eye
Uncle Bill's Pet Center's Puppy Guarantee covers Entropion and/or Cherry Eye under the provisions of our limited 14 day health guarantee. Uncle Bill's Pet Center does not consider Entropion or Cherry Eye as congenital birth defects. However, certain breeds whose faces are flat, whose noses are short or breeds with facial skin folds are more likely to exhibit these conditions. These breeds include, but are not limited to, Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, French Bulldogs, Pekingese, Pugs, Puggles and Shar Peis.

Hypoglycemia
Uncle Bill's Pet Center's Puppy Guarantee does not cover hypoglycemia since it is a condition brought on by factors that are beyond our (or the breeders') control. If your puppy goes through a hypoglycemic episode, we are available to answer your questions, but Uncle Bill's is not responsible for any veterinary bills incurred due to it.

Luxating Patellas
Not all cases of luxating patellas (“loose kneecaps”) are considered to be a debilitating congenital defect. Additionally, many small breeds of dogs are more naturally inclined to exhibit luxating patellas due to their body type (size, shape, breed conformation) and age. These breeds include but are not limited to Boston Terriers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Chihuahuas, Italian Greyhounds, Maltese, Papillions, Pomeranians, Poodles and Yorkshire Terriers.

Uncle Bill's Pet Center, upon consultation with our veterinarian, retains the right to determine the definition of “debilitating luxating patellas”. In order for this warranty to be valid, all claims must be accompanied by the x-rays of the knees (if taken) specifically for evaluation of the knees, pertinent medical records and a written statement from a licensed veterinarian. Upon request, x-rays can be returned after our veterinarian has had a chance to evaluate them.

Deciduous Teeth/Base Narrow Canines
Many small breeds of dogs are more naturally inclined to retain their deciduous (“baby”, “primary”) teeth. Due to the variability in age of deciduous tooth loss, Uncle Bill's Pet Center does not cover the cost of removal of these teeth.
If at six months of age and eruption of your pet's adult teeth, your puppy displays significant and debilitating malocclusion (teeth not aligned properly) due to base narrow canines, Uncle Bill's may cover costs associated with repair, never to exceed the purchase price of the puppy.

Uncle Bill's Pet Center, upon consultation with our veterinarian, retains the right to determine the definition of “debilitating and significant malocclusion”. In order for this warranty to be valid, all claims must be accompanied by pertinent medical records and a written statement from a licensed veterinarian.

Companion Pets
Uncle Bill's Pet Center provides puppies & kittens solely for the purpose of being companion pets. There is no warranty expressed or implied that you will be able to use the puppy or kitten for breeding or showing purposes (including, but not limited to conforming to the height and weight of the breed standard). Provided parents' weight is for reference only and does not guarantee the weight of your new puppy. You should not purchase a puppy from Uncle Bill's Pet Center if any of these uses are important to you. Due to concerns about pet overpopulation, Uncle Bill's Pet Center encourages you to consider spaying or neutering your pet.
