This beautiful little damsel is common in huge aggregations in reef and deep water areas (down to 180ft) where it feeds on small crustaceans like copepods and passing plankton. This fish is somewhat nervous, easily spooked and will dart into crevices when disturbed. It often found in association with the Creole Wrasse.
