Gold Gourami

This fish is a very attractive color morph of the Blue Gourami. It has a golden yellow base color to the body that is overlaid with irregular striations of brown markings. Mature specimens have small circular markings on the tail, dorsal and anal fins. The pectoral fins are modified into a pair of antennae like feelers that function as a sensory organ. Males grow larger and have a more elongate dorsal fin than the females.
