Rummy Nose Tetra

Also called a Firehead Tetra, the Rummynose is one of the most striking members of the tetra family, unfortunately it’s also one of the hardest to keep.  The native waters of the rummy nose are very soft and have a low pH, between 5.0 and 6.0.  Captive bred specimens are easier to keep as they have been raised in water with a higher pH (7.0-7.5) and a moderate hardness.
