Green/Spotted Scat

Of the four members of the Scat family, the Spotted or Green Scat is the most common in the aquarium hobby. It is known to inhabit a broad range of environments from estuaries and bays to tidal basins and in the ocean off island shores, to freshwater streams and mangroves. Juveniles are mainly harvested from the lower reaches of freshwater streams towards the tidal basins with throw nets.
