Facts and Information

This is a beautiful, yet undesribed Haplochromis species from Lake Victoria. The haps of this lake are quite smaller and sport a different body and dorsal fin than their Lake Malawi cousins. Similar in body shape to the Obliquidens, but males sport a bright red stroke of color along the dorsal area and fin, with a soft blue coloration below. Females are similar, but are more of a rusty orange color with some yellow along the dorsal area.
