Do you price match?
We do our very best to price match against select locally-owned pet specialty stores whenever we can, depending on the item; but larger, big-box, corporate/national chain pet stores tend to receive much higher discounts than we do on their product orders due to the amount of bulk in which they buy from the distributors and manufacturers – which includes online retailers. It would also be extremely difficult for Uncle Bill's to price match with most if not all online retailers as they do not incur the overhead costs that brick and mortar stores do and typically have their own warehouses where they keep and distribute their own items. However, Uncle Bill's does attend regular trade shows and works closely with manufacturer and brand representatives wherever we can to ensure we are providing the best prices, deals, and rewards feasible. We pass along as much savings as possible from the products we bring in on to our customers – and we appreciate your efforts in shopping local and keeping your business within the community. Studies* have proven that shopping local keeps at least $68 out of every $100 within the community; whereas shopping at a big box retailer keeps less than $43 within the local community. This local revenue supports schools, infrastructure, and creates more jobs within your neighborhood!
