CASHIER 

Uncle Bill’s is currently seeking reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic pet lovers for the Cashier roles within our company.  We are in search of full- or part-time motivated, honest individuals to operate the cashier position, greet customers as they arrive in our stores, and provide customers with information or answering questions about products and/or services in our business. Also may assist with merchandising or replenishing stock between other responsibilities.  If you enjoy helping others and love animals, then consider a role at one of our locations today!

In the store’s fast-paced, dynamic environment it is expected of you to exhibit poise and composure as you learn from each new challenge.  Potential candidates must be sales oriented, customer focused, and work in a team atmosphere.  

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
• Excellent communication skills and an organized, detail-oriented nature.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, organize, and adapt to challenges while remaining composed in a constantly changing, fast-paced retail environment.
• Understanding of retail fundamentals.  
• Flexibility with scheduling as work hours will vary and be based on business needs.
• Work well independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team situation.
• Base salary founded on experience.
• Physical demands may include:  occasional lifting of objects up to 40 lbs.; long durations of standing, stooping, and/or moving about; may be exposed to moderate noise levels; and potential exposure to allergens.
